I bring a diverse blend of pastoral experience, academic training, and personal insight to my work at Grace For Addictions. With an Associate’s degree in pastoral counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in human behavior, I’ve been immersed in supporting those battling addiction and other life challenges. In my years pastoring an inner-city church, I worked closely with the homeless and those facing addiction, learning firsthand the power of compassion and community in overcoming hardship. I also spent 18 years working within the prison system, engaging directly with issues of addiction, rehabilitation, and the deep-seated struggles that often accompany these challenges.

My approach may feel unorthodox, but it centers on helping people rediscover their true selves beneath the ego. Addiction, as I see it, is often a symptom of something deeper, a disconnect from one’s authentic identity. When we address these root issues, people can start to heal in a lasting, transformative way. At times, I’ve witnessed remarkable insights, what Scripture describes as a, “word of knowledge,” offering details that speak deeply to my clients’ journeys. Above all, I believe that freedom from addiction comes when people awaken to who they really are, moving past temporary escapes to find lasting peace and purpose.
