We are so very thankful to have found Grace for Addictions and Thomas! I ran across the simple title of “Teen Life Coach” and thought hmmm, how interesting. I started my search. After looking through several images of partners we could work with I saw Thomas’s picture and I knew he would be a fit for Ethan right away, then I read and found out more about Thomas. I didn’t take long to know that he was the right fit for 18-year-old Ethan!

Seeing a young man that is so capable not apply himself and not even fully realizing his potential can leave a caregiver very concerned and sometimes feeling like giving up some days. We are abundantly thankful that these darker areas are brightening up and starting to shine!

Grades are up, more assignments are done, getting up for school and chores are being done without asking most of the time! Ethan’s confidence seems to be increasing too.

Thomas has demonstrated empathy, patience, and kindness towards Ethans as he grows each day with tiny tasks. In a way he embodies the role of a big brother. Thomas is always available, uses the latest cool teen social media tools and the best part is that he offers a judgement free zone!
